Dr. Sandra Miranda, ND received her undergraduate degree in Biology from York University (1996). She received her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine after completing a four full-time year course of studies at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto (2000).
She has been in private practice since 2000. Her interest in the field grew after having experienced its healing benefits on her own health. This awoke a genuine curiosity on natural healings and on methods to activate our body’s inherent ability to heal ourselves. During her years of practice she has develop a love for homeopathy- a true holistic, gentle type of medicine with a huge medical literature behind it.
Her craving for knowledge has led her to take further education, around the world, on advance topics such as Homeopathy, Detoxification, Therapeutic Lifestyle Changes, Natural Weight Loss, Women’s Health, Paediatrics, Mesotherapy and Bowen.
Her active professional memberships include: Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND), Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND), and Network – Globalhealth Worldwide Physicians’ Network for Lipolysis and Aesthetic Medicine (Bochum-Germany)
In addition, Dr. Miranda is a proud mother of 2 beautiful, healthy children who inspire her to continue growing her Family Wellness Clinic. Every day she wakes up excited about her full time practice and her opportunity to share with families the wealth of knowledge that she has gained throughout her journey.

Dr. Nicole McCulloch Sandilands ND is a Naturopathic doctor who received her medical training from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. Prior to her studies in Naturopathic Medicine she completed a 4-year Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology degree from McMaster University.
Dr. Sandilands welcomes treating a variety of health conditions however she has a special interest in treating women’s health and hormonal concerns, weight loss, digestive complaints, autoimmune conditions (ulcerative colitis, crohn’s disease, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, etc) as well as detoxification.
In addition; she has had further training in the area of adjunctive cancer care, supporting those who are currently undergoing conventional cancer therapies improve their overall health, wellbeing and tolerance to treatments.
She combines natural medicines with conventional science to create a truly integrative health care experience. She utilises many different therapies
including nutrition and dietary supplements, vitamin injections, acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine, botanical medicine, and homeopathy.

Renee has over 15 years experience as a Registered Massage Therapist. Over these years, she has been dedicated to educate and enhance her skills to provide the utmost in patient care.
She is a Certified Acupuncturist, Certified Kinesiotaping Practioner and Integrated Manual Therapist (consisting of courses such as craniosacral and lymphatic drainage techniques) and a Certified Sport Massage candidate. She considers herself a rehabilitative massage therapist who believes in proper assessment and combining other modalities/skills to a massage to enhance the healing outcome of all patients.
Chronic pain and injury relief are her areas of specialty. She is trained in sports related injuries and have worked with a diverse sports population. She currently achieved education to administer Therapeutic Ultrasound and IVF and is looking forward to providing this service in the near future to her clients.

- Team Therapist for a Women’s AAA Hockey Team and was Team Therapist at World Cup’s Germany and Czech Republic for the Women’s National Ball Hockey Team who are currently preparing to defend our goal medal in Slovakia.
- Member of the Medical Services Team providing massage care to the athletes at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic games.

Aurora was born in Quito, Ecuador. She came to Canada in 1970. She has always had a passion for the health services. In her home country she graduated as a registered nurse. However, upon arriving to Canada she was at first unable to continue pursuing her career in the health services. She spent over 20 years in hotel services.
It wasn’t until later that she had the opportunity to receive her training as a Certified Colon Therapist (2006) through Advance…… . She has been successfully working for Miranda Naturopathic Clinic as the Colonic and Ionic Detox Therapist since June 2006. She enjoys helping people and advising them in how to feel better.
“It is very rewarding when I hear people say that they are feeling better and becoming more regular” says Aurora.
It has been said by many of her clients that “She is perfect for this job”. Her gentle and motherly nature really helps all her patients feel very comfortable during the procedure. We are really happy to have her as part of our health care team!
Florence is a Certified Nutritional Consultant who graduated from the Institute of Holistic Nutrition in Toronto. After graduation she worked in a wellness centre in Pickering and is now excited to start working at the Miranda Naturopathic Clinic in Whitby providing nutritional counseling on a variety of health related concerns.
Florence is a passionate advocate of preventive health and the numerous healing benefits of food. She uses an integrative approach to helping clients target their health issues. She advises on lifestyle modifications and prepares for clients customized nutritional plans. She emphasizes on whole foods, herbs, and supplements to correct nutritional imbalances and to enable her clients to make well-informed decisions about their health that make a tangible impact on their daily lives and long-term well-being.
