Urine Tests

Urine Toxic and Essential Elements Test

This test analyses the levels of toxic heavy metals and essential elements. Acute metal poisoning is rare. More common, however, is a chronic, low-level exposure to toxic metals that can result in significant retention in the body that can be associated with a vast array of adverse health effects and chronic disease.

To evaluate retention of heavy metals, the levels of metals in urine before and after the administration of a chelating agent is compared. This allows one to differentiate whether the body burden of the metals is from a recent exposure or past exposure.

Estrogen Metabolism Ratio Test-

This test looks at how estrogens are broken down by the body. The two metabolites of estrogen that are measure are: 16OHE1 and 2OHE1. A proper balance between these two metabolites is important to maintain good health.

16OHE1 is a more potent estrogen and may therefore promote the growth of hormone dependent cancer slike breast cancer. Conversely, there is some evidence that the weaker major urinary metabolite of estrogen (2OHE1), is protective against breast cancer.

Therefore, determining the ratio may give an indication of breast cancer risk.

Urine dipstick-

This test will give us a lot of information on your kidney function, acid-base levels of your system, concentration of urine, possible infectious diseases, etc

Vitamin C Test-

It provides instantaneous information on the patient’s Vitamin C level in the blood. Vitamin C is one of the major elements that assists the body’s immune system.

Adrenal Function Test (aka Koenisberg Test)-

It tests the health of the Adrenal glands (considered our Stress Glands). In a highly stressed society, it is not uncommon to find either stressed or fatigued adrenals. This test will give us immediate answer on how much stress has affected your system.

Calcium levels (aka Sulkowitch)-

This test provides instantaneous information on the patient’s Calcium level in the blood. Calcium is the most abundant mineral in the body (99% in bones and teeth). Early detection and correction of calcium deficiency can prevent many future health problems.

Bowel Toxicity (aka Indican Malabsorption)-

It will test for proper protein digestion, presence of putrefactive bacteria or yeast in bowel, permeability of bowel wall, etc.
